We apologize for the extremely short notice this month
but several us were buried under projects and situations of various
kinds. First the good news- our Chairman Bill Brown is out of the
hospital and recovering nicely at home. Hopefully he'll be able to resume
his chairman duties within a couple months.
Our June meeting will be at the Manatee County Public Safety Center in
Bradenton. The program will be presented by Steve Simpson, FPEM,
Operations Officer at the Manatee County EOC. Now that hurricane season
is again here it's time to fine tune our plans and be ready.
Due to the painfully short time frame we won't be able to work out a sponsored
lunch this month. We suggest everyone pick up something along the way and
be at the EOC at noon for the meeting. The main arteries into the area
have eateries for your perusal.
